Animation from the Emmy Winning, Robot Chicken [as]
In 2010, I was hired as an animator on Robot Chicken. Since then I have animated on three seasons, Robot Chicken Star Wars Episode III, Robot Chicken DC Comics Special 1 and 2, as well as three Christmas Specials. The Robot Chicken Christmas Special won an Emmy for Outstanding Short Format Animation in 2011, and my work has been nominated twice for Individual Achievement in Character Animation.
The animation in this 'Close Encounters' parody was also contributed to by the very talented, Rachel Larson, who animated the first three shots of the aliens.
The animation in this clip from 'Robot Chicken Star Wars III' was also contributed to by Savelen Forrest, the Animation Director of that special and someone who taught me a multitude about animation. Savelen animated the amazing scene on the escalator.
