Since graduating from the California Institute of the Arts in 2009, Dillon Markey has worked in the stop motion animation industry in Los Angeles. Dillon has contributed his animation to Robot Chicken most extensively, taking the role of Lead Animator on Season 8, as well as several other shows, shorts, and commercial projects created by Stoopid Buddy Stoodios in Burbank. In addition to his work with Stoopid Buddy, Dillon was a co-animator on several films by the animation artist PES, including the 2013 Academy Award Nominated "Fresh Guacamole" and its successor "Submarine Sandwich." In 2015, Dillon gained some notoriety for a documentary entitled "Playing with Power," in which he presented a Nintendo Powerglove that he modified to wirelessly control the computer while he animates.

Hampshire College, Dillon's undergraduate alma mater, brought him on in 2016-17 as a Visiting Professor of Animation. During that time, Dillon oversaw the development and construction of a fully equipped and functioning stop motion facility which continues to be used today - it was in this facility that 'Kneaded Courage' was created. It is the largest stop motion facility in a liberal arts college campus on the East Coast.

Dillon continues to animate, innovate, and educate in Los Angeles, Massachusetts, and around the world.
